NINJA VERSUS PIRATE FEATURING ZOMBIES by James Marshall is the first book in the HOW TO END HUMAN SUFFERING SERIES, and it is an absolute riot! It's coming May 2012, but you can pre-order your copy at Amazon now. This book is basically a cross between THE MATRIX and NAPOLEON DYNAMITE. It's got tons of action, mixed with a slacker hero, written in quirky, clever prose. Here's the plot in a nutshell: A teenage boy, his pink-haired girlfriend, and his ninja best friend take on the zombies that dominate their world, starting in their high school by revolting against the Zombie Acceptance Test, or ZAT, which determines if students become zombies or zombie food.

Also, I love the cover, especially the pink-haired girl who reminds me of Hit Girl from KICKASS. This book also has a SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD cool-nerd feel. So if you liked Kickass or Scott Pilgrim, definitely check this out!
